Zinovia Canale is a retired high school English teacher who served as the Department Chair for the last ten years of her career. She also worked as a Special Educator in a number of different capacities. Zinovia brings her wit and passion to the stories she tells as a means to observe the tragedies of many of our children. She studied at Boston College as an English Major and later earned a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Special Education at Suffolk University. Additionally, Zinovia obtained a Master’s degree in English from the University of Rhode Island. She wrote a self-help memoir for Jackie Henderson titled You’re Not for Everyone. William’s Capture is her first novel. She submitted an article for the Huffington Post and was one of the winners for The Newport Life Writing Contest for her poem, “The Paradise.” Zinovia lives in Portsmouth Rhode Island, one of the towns which is part of Aquidneck Island.
